Get into or out of visibility

To be invisible is the wish of children – sometimes also of adults. What does invisibility mean to you? As we grow older, the question arises as to where our desire for invisibility is going. Or do we rather want to become visible?

Invisibility can have many meanings. For children, it might mean protecting themselves from negative attention or retreating into fantasy worlds. For adults, the desire for invisibility could mean hiding from responsibility, confrontation, or societal pressure.

For me personally, invisibility means that my actions and influence may not always be obvious but can still be effective. It’s about being subtle, working behind the scenes, yet still making a difference.

As we age, the desire for invisibility may change. Perhaps we want more recognition, appreciation, or impact in the world, which means becoming more visible and leaving our mark.

What moves me is the desire to support, inspire, and encourage people to reach their full potential. I believe in the power of knowledge, communication, and collaboration to bring about positive change in the world.
